The emergency department service at KMC has been improved even more to make it faster, faster, and more effective. In the emergency room, a 24-hour ‘Emergency Volunteer’ team has been mobilised to assist the patients.
Volunteers in carts, wheelchairs, and stretchers have been stationed in front of the hospital gate 24 hours a day to transport emergency patients to the emergency department, according to KMC General Manager Narayan Dahal.
Dahal stated that they will remove the patient from the ambulance as soon as possible and transport them to the emergency department for treatment.
The emergency room service has been further upgraded and made fast, rapid, and quality, according to the hospital, after Dr. Sunil Sharma, Chairman of KMC, expressed interest in making the emergency service effective. Patients and family members of patients have expressed satisfaction with the treatment since KMC improved emergency services.
A similar inquiry room has been established at KMC. According to the KMC, an inquiry room has been established to provide information about treatment and other hospital-related operations.
Dr. Sharma’s arrival has accelerated the standardisation of treatment and extension of services at KMC.
