The stock market index (NEPSE) rose 11 points on Thursday, the final day of the week, to 2883 points. On this day, 11.8 million shares worth more than Rs 8 billion were traded.
There were 115 firms traded out of the 223 firms traded. The value of 54 companies fell, while the value of 14 remained stable.
The largest beneficiaries were Ngadi Group Power Company, which received 10%, and Rairang Hydropower Company, which received 9%. Companies like Soaltee and Oriental Hotels have seen their stock prices fall.
