The NEPSE dropped by 45 points, with a turnover of nearly Rs 10 billion

NEPSE was down 16.97 points during day clousure on Wednesday

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell 45.06 points on Monday after the Supreme Court (SC) reinstated the dissolved House of Representatives (HoR).

With today’s drop, the index has dropped to 2854.76 points.

Today, 26.02 million shares of 229 companies were traded, resulting in a Rs 9.98 billion turnover.

Banking was down 22 points, trade was down 60 points, hotels and tourism were down 106 points, development banks were down 97 points, hydropower was down 60 points, finance was down 21 points, non-life insurance was down 240 points, manufacturing was down 118 points, others were down 31 points, microfinance was down 72 points, life insurance was down 254 points, and investment was down 2 points.

Similarly, the value of Samridhi Finance has increased by 5%. Other companies’ inflation remained below 3 percent. Union Hydropower, Khanikhola Hydropower, and Oriental Hotel all saw a 5% decrease in price.

Similarly, Mahuli Community Microfinance, Shivshree Hydropower, Hydropower Investment and Development Company, Himal Dolakha Hydropower, and National Hydropower have all seen a 4% drop in price.
