Sandeep Lamichhane, a Nepali leg spinner, will join the Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bass League for the next season.
Tim Hobart, an Australian franchise, renewed Sandeep’s contract for the upcoming season on Thursday. Sandeep has been signed as the team’s first foreign player, according to Hobart. Sandeep spent last season with Hobart. Last season, Sandeep grabbed eight wickets in eight games for Hobart.
Sandeep had previously represented the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bass League. Sandeep is the Big Bass League’s first Nepali player. Sandeep also stated that he is confident in his ability to do well in the league this season.
‘We had a good bunch last year. Many of us will be playing together this year, and “I am hopeful that he will be there for the entire season,” Sandeep remarked following the agreement. The upcoming Big Bass season is set to run from December 5 to January 28, 2022.
