NEPSE sets a new record for the largest transaction in its history.

NEPSE index goes up by 20.71 points

On Tuesday, the Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) set a new high in terms of transactions.

On Tuesday, the total transaction value surpassed 11.35 billion dollars.

Today, NEPSE rose 34.68 points (1.26 percent). The index now stands at 2793.89 points after today’s increase.

Except for output and processing, all of the indexes rose today. The category for life insurance has risen by 204.14 points.

At the circuit stage, the stock prices of ten companies have risen by 10%. On Tuesday, both the Nepse index and the buying and selling sum set new highs.

The purchase and selling of over Rs. 679.2 million by Nepal Reinsurance Company is on track. Second and third place go to National Life Insurance and Arun Kabeli Hydropower, respectively.

Price increases have triggered positive circuit breakers in about a third of the businesses. Groups such as hotels and tourism, banking, hydropower, and others are more appealing.

A total of 23.1 million shares from 215 companies were traded.
