NEPSE Gains 1.24 percent With Promising Market Participation


The NEPSE index finished the day at 2,616.94, up 32.03 points from the previous day’s closing price. This is a 1.24 percent increase in the index. Yesterday, the index had increased by 60.41 points.

A total of 54,505 transactions took place involving 230 scrips. The Float index is now at 179.60, up 1.39 percent from its previous close, while the Sensitive index is now at 487.87, up 1.22 percent from its previous close.

With a total turnover of Rs. 28.44 crores, Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) closed at a market price of Rs. 4,249 per share, making it the most profitable company in the country. The most actively traded stocks were those of Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL).

Madhya Bhotekoshi Jalavidyut Company Limited (MBJC) had a 10 percent increase in revenue, triggering the positive circuit breaker for the company. Meanwhile, Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited (RURU)
