Kamal Thapa, chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, has resigned as coordinator of the local election mobilization committee. He declared on social media that he was resigning from his position as coordinator of the party’s local election mobilization committee.
He has asked one of the chairpersons, Pashupati Shamsher Rana or Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani, or other senior leaders to take on the role of coordinator. He made no mention of the reason for his breakup.

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party established a local election mobilization committee on July 23 under the direction of Chairman Thapa. The committee is comprised of Dhan Bahadur Budha, Bharat Jung Upreti, Rabindra Pratap Shah, and Rajesh Giri, with Gita Bhakta Joshi serving as member secretary. Similarly, the chairperson and vice-chairperson of each of the committee’s seven state committees are ex-officio members.
