VICE-Chairman of the CPN-UML Bhim Rawal questioned the meeting of leaders, including Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and the Bharatiya Janata Party’s foreign affairs chairman Vijay Chauthaiwale, which took place last week in New Delhi.
According to a tweet sent out on Sunday, Vice President Rawal claimed that Nepali leaders had met with BJP leader Chauthaiwale in a manner that went beyond the bounds of diplomatic dignity, and he questioned whether the issue of the murder of Jaisingh Dhami in Mahakali had been brought up with Chauthaiwale.
Besides that, he said that the encounter was a breach of diplomatic dignity. In a meeting with BJP leader Chauthaiwale that went beyond the lines of diplomatic decorum, some Nepali leaders broached the issue of taking action against the Indian security forces who killed Jaisingh Dhami in the Mahakali massacre. What they have said is in the best interests of the country.
When Chauthaiwale arrived in Nepal, he held separate meetings with a number of political leaders and ministers, including Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, UCPN (Maoist) Central Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, JSP Federal Council Chairman Baburam Bhattarai, and Loktantrik Samajwadi Party Chairman Mahanta Thakur.
